• Perform payroll controls and quality assurance before and after payroll runs

• Ensure compliance with applicable payroll, tax, reporting and employment-related requirements

• Prepare, validate and follow up payroll data and documentation

• Act as the main HR contact towards our external payroll provider

• Identify discrepancies, investigate root causes and ensure corrections are implemented

• Maintain payroll procedures, controls and documentation

• Support reconciliations and collaborate closely with Finance

• Contribute to developing and improving our future payroll operating model

• Be prepared to take on more hands-on payroll processing should payroll be brought partly or fully in-house

Operational HR

• Work closely with the VP HR and support the operational HR agenda

• Support employee lifecycle processes, including onboarding, changes and offboarding

• Prepare employment contracts, amendments, letters and other HR documentation

• Maintain accurate employee data in our HR systems

• Support absence, working time and other employment-related processes

• Assist managers with practical HR matters and ensure agreed processes are followed

• Contribute to HR reporting, documentation, policies and procedures

• Support recruitment and other HR activities when needed

• Help ensure that our HR practices are aligned with Norwegian employment legislation and internal requirements

• Take ownership of operational tasks and follow them through to completion

Who are we looking for?

First and foremost, we are looking for someone with solid Norwegian payroll experience.

You understand payroll controls, deadlines, legislation, reporting and compliance. You are accurate, identify errors and take ownership until issues are resolved.

HR experience is an advantage but not required. You should, however, be interested in developing your HR competence and comfortable supporting operational HR tasks.

Qualifications

• Solid Norwegian payroll experience is required

• HR experience is an advantage

• Knowledge of Norwegian employment legislation is preferred

• Experience with HR/payroll systems is an advantage

• Relevant education is desirable, but experience may compensate

• Good Norwegian and English
